Vinted Shoppers Share Displeasure About Sizing Changes
Vinted users have been reacting angrily after an update resulted in listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its size classifications for female and kids' apparel but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Modifications
Before the change, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, from Glasgow, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as size 20–22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she explained.
Manual Updates
A different user, based in Derby, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Service Background
The platform boasts over 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: previously, Vinted reversed a change regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
