The Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form According to Your Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the fandom. Starting with the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers ahead of the game's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

With many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to link this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. This makes the Ram far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Remain on the friendly side of either and benefit from a powerful partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed love of snacks. Several previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of every party, offering an endless stream of gossip to those who wish to listen. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's very easy to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also states its capacity to foresee an opponent's future actions, which sounds very like a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a intense sign known for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to create a storm cloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is obviously Super Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a performance, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly critical is strongly mirrored throughout this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to keep the harmony, there are many Libras who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad backstory: Discarded as a toy, it gained sentient through pure hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores karma and retribution, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a performance. Being a Archer myself, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some version of a “playful small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to foresee disasters in advance? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently believe they’re right. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being chaotic partners in crime. Super Chandelure's dual Spirit/Flame typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating aura is also very Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into strength.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
