The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in an LA Car Crash
Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in California aged 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The renowned industry figure passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, according to.
