Building On Previous Mistakes

This title comes off the heels of the sci-fi Battlefield 2042, released previously to a poor response it found it hard to overcome.

"We probably couldn't make and develop this new game without the lessons we gained in the last release," she shares with the press.

Among those takeaways was to engage players participating soon, and the developers initiated invite-only fan playtests earlier this year.

This "response was incredibly encouraging," states she.

Another omitted ingredient from Battlefield 2042 was a single-player campaign, which has been restored this time around.

The UK studio project head Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the individual tasked with "making sure those missions are as entertaining and compelling as feasible for the gamers."

In spite of reports that the size of the project had put a strain on the multiple developers working together globally to create the title, the director is positive about the process.

"Collaborating with varied perspectives, different backgrounds, it's a truly interesting setting to be part of daily," he says.

"This whole approach has been something new but also truly inspiring because we are working with team members from all over the world."

As for the anticipation on the crew, he says: "We feel pressure but at the same time it's exciting.

"This is a large venture. It's arguably the biggest that many of us have ever been involved in."

Emerging Talent Brings Fresh View

That's certainly accurate of at least a single developer, VFX specialist the artist.

The recent hire produces the visual ambiance that define the mood, feel, and focus of the solo experience.

"To know that I have added my individual work into the title is truly dreamlike."
